The Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas served up numerous exceptional star-studded performances. One of these was performed by 56-year-old Paula Abdul. She partnered up with our Nika Kljun, who choreographed her performance. Paula thanked Nika after the performance and said that it had been delightful and enjoyable to work with her.

Nika, who is extremely disciplined when working and brings out only the best in dancers, is a very good judge of what someone is capable of. This is why she didn't “go easy” on the 56-year-old star when putting together her moves. And it paid off, as all the foreign media reported on Paula Abdul’s showstopping Billboard Music Awards performance.

One of the dancers was also our Jan Ravnik, while Nika's mother, Janja Pušl, who visited her daughter in Las Vegas and stood by her side, supported her from backstage.

 “I’m so… I’m… over the moon, I’m so excited, I love you so much (Nika), we did it,” an overjoyed Paula enthused, and continued by elaborating that Nika was the last to give her words of encouragement before her performance. “This girl (Nika) was the last girl in my ear two seconds before I walked up on stage saying: ‘You can do this.’ And I carried your voice the rest of the performance. I love you (Nika) and I had the best time working with you,” she was generous with her praise for our outstanding dancer and choreographer.

“I cannot explain how honored I am to have choreographed such a historic performance, and to be working with a living legend like @paulaabdul.” Nika posted on Instagram and thanked all the dancers in the same post.
